I Woke Up Feeling Positive About the Dodgers...

I'm choosing to believe they can win today.

I am praying, as I said in the cold open, praying that yesterday [sniffs] was the rock bottom for this team.

We've seen this team go through rock bottoms before.

We've seen the Yoshinobu Yamamoto losing the no-hitter, losing the complete game, losing the shutout to Jackson Holliday and the Orioles.

And yeah, it took him another day before they actually, you know, got going.

Um, Dodgers don't have that kind of benefit of one more day.

They need to get it going today, and it's gonna be the kitchen sink.

It's going to be Tyler Glasnow most likely to start the game.

Maybe, maybe Dave goes with an opener.

Is that too much? Is that...

I- if he goes with an opener to get those first three guys, like if it's Evan Phillips to open this game to get at the bare minimum, Chirio and Contreras, do we like that? Do we hate that? Because we know Glasnow has been a slow starter as well.

But you get those first three guys out of the way, and then you go to the bullpen in the shape of Tyler Glasnow.

I think there is no way in hell we don't see Yamamoto tonight.

Dave yesterday saying, "Oh, yeah, Tarik Skubal and Yamamoto are not available." That, that's bullshit.

Absolute bullshit.

They are available.

That's gamesmanship.

That's him not wanting to show his hand to Pat Murphy and the Brewers.

So one good thing Dave has done in this series, and I understand...

Listen, I got a lot of traction last night on some Dave Roberts thoughts.

I'm not alone.

I'm not the one person who believes that Dave Roberts has had a bad game, has had a bad series.

It has been bad.

But also, it's making a lot of the same moves that he's done over the last couple years that have worked.

Sixth inning last night, absolute panic, or seventh inning, absolute panic inning.

I'm choosing to believe they can win today.
