yeah there's a couple of them and there was a controversial race at the car which pretty much everyone has ignored maybe for obvious reasons but we'll get on to that shortly um uh look for the racing review at york obviously you know some of the action happened five days ago so we don't really focus on that but i'll just pick out one or two performances from each day uh the evil festival uh but anyone can come in at any point if they've got anything to add um just a few things before we get into york taunton are the latest course to have left the rca there's a huge betting story in the us with a guy called marshall graham he's accused of all sorts including allegedly accessing betting and veterinary related data he shouldn't have had access to about even about horses he didn't own he found a glitch and went in there and found details of every horse, presumably for punting purposes.

And there was another Stools controversy at Carlisle on Wednesday as Native Instinct anticipated the gates, hit them, and they closed back on him.

So the specter of Benvenuto Cellini decision at Epsom is, you know, cast a shadow about all these decisions.

At York on Wednesday, Maltese crossed, looked a serious ledger and arc contender after winning the Volcheggio under a £5 penalty.

On Thursday, Kalpana won another thriller by just hanging on in the Yorkshire Oaks, boarding having a four-time on the day.

He ended up with six winners and was leading trainer at the festival, and Murphy was top jockey with four wins at York.

There was actually a pacemaker angle to that race as well, which we'll touch upon later.

Baccio was a stunning winner of the Nunthorpe, though everyone was talking about whether Tymor Sandals would have won with a clear run, having finished on the bridle after meeting a lot of trouble in running.

Notable speech was back to his brilliant best when winning the City of York.

um this was painful for me uh highs and lows for callum rodriguez as he won on archivist uh who looked anything um he looked at actually a group one tour when winning the group three strengths also imagine we'll be seeing him and like i say the top tier races next uh but then rodriguez dropped his whip on the head runner up hopewell rock in the e-ball um some way out.

So he only got beaten by head and he was flapping all around the place, trying to hit the horse down the side to try and get it going.

Um, but to be fair, Daiquiri Bay was a very determined winner, uh, and a job on, had a good week after Kalpana, An item, they had a very good two-year-old, very impressive two-year-old monogram come from out of the clouds on his debut at the Curragh.

That was expected, but probably not in that manner because he went off at four to six.

The controversial moment, actually I'll do a Sunday, then we'll come back to that controversial moment on the Curragh on Saturday.

On Sunday, Joseph O'Brien... defiantly booked his place in the Melbourne Cup by winning the Pre-Kergeley.

Oshu Murphy's good week continued when Senorita Barina won the Group 1 Mornay.
