I saw somewhere on...

Twitter the other day, bro, where it was on about why do West Brom fans call Wolverhampton fans dingles when the Burnley fans are getting confused? Does it originate from their parts? I don't know.

It's got something to do with Crossroads, hasn't it? Not Crossroads.

Is it Crossroads? I don't know.

And as ever, it's great to see you.

The DAB cropping up in so many places.

Of course, local to me in Wolverhampton.

Pick up everyone who's listening on DAB in Walls.

And as the communities grew larger, they would cer- there would be certain rights that they would assert.

So when you think about Enoch Powell's Rivers of Blood speech in 1969, he warned that in 15 to 20 years, the Black man would have the whip hand over the white man, and he was the MP for Wolverhampton, which had a growing Punjabi Sikh community.

During that time, there was a dispute, uh, on the buses for the right for Punjabi Sikhs to wear a turban on the buses, and this is one of the things he cites and says- These people are taking liberties here.

They're advocating for their religious rights, and this is a problem.

So we never went away on holiday anywhere.

So we, so I'm in a three-bedroom council house in Wolverhampton.

It's the late '70s, early '80s.

Uh, my parents have started having what will eventually be eight children, uh, who were all being raised on disability benefits 'cause my father was disabled.

... like a big holiday destination for most people.

If you live in the Midlands it is, or in Liverpool, 'cause it's the nearest bit of countryside to those, to, to Birmingham or Wolverhampton or Liverpool.

But most people-

There's really only one member that matters, the real brainchild, or possibly abused child, of Kevin Rowland.

He was born in 1953, a place called Wolverhampton.

Son of a working class Irish immigrant.

As a teenager, Kevin and his mates are really into the Northern Soul movement.

There's no doubt to me that Molyneux is not in the black country.

We're not going to label the point too much, but, I mean, it will be called the black country derby because the city of Wolverhampton is classed as being in the black country in modern times.

And do you know what, Adrian? All of Sandwell is, all of Sandwell is.

Adrian, it really winds them up as well.

But clearly parts of Wolverhampton are in the black country, places like Bilston, where, incidentally, Albion do have support.

You know, within the borough of Wolverhampton, Albion have supporters in Bilston because it's in the black country.
