Today I talk about one of the coolest columnar cacti in my opinion, peruvian apple cactus. Its an excellent crop for silviculture models, food forrests, fruit farms and it can help other plants grow…
Uh, you plant a two, three-foot, uh, Peruvian apple cactus, and within a year, if you get some good rain and you're dry farming the crop, it can even, you know, put out five branches that are the same size as it.
And with a little irrigation from rainwater that you're collecting, you could even boost up production to, like, times ten in size, you know.
Now, you don't wanna overwater it, because like many cactus, that's where the plagues and insect infestations usually come from, from the overwatering.
Um, uh, but all that could depend on age and, you know, your climate, your soil a lot.
So, um, for everyone it'll be different.
