Phillies Malpractice & Eagles Hope

Let's start Phil's.

So we find out yesterday two things.

I mean, more than two things.

But we find out that Mattingly's back.

We also find out they get rid of some of their coaches, including the hitting coach that Kevin Long's name has been said five million times.

And I do think, you know, without knowing all the details, it was time to move on because obviously the guys just aren't picking up on what he's telling them.

It's probably 99% the player's fault and 1% Kevin Long's fault, if I had to guess.

But you've got to go because you've got to get through the players.

I mean, I don't care if it's more their fault than not.

You've just got to get through to them.

So he didn't.

He's gone.

Okay, adios.

But what's here is a really frustrating baseball team.

Generally a pretty good baseball team, but not this year a great team at all.

And far from elite.

You want to see elite? Go look at the Milwaukee Brewers.

Look at what that team did again yesterday.

They're now up 3-0 on the Dodgers.

And they obviously have the inside track to win the World Series.

That's elite.

Now, let's talk about the Phillies.

Let's talk about this press conference.

Let's talk about Dave Dombrowski.

Here's the deal, guys.
