"What Is Optimal?" Club Fitting Optimization

Harrison Arnold joining me for, um, an exciting weekend of golf that we can break down here and, uh, especially across the pond, Harrison.

We had the Women's Open that, um, it played difficult, played tough, but y- in the end, it was kind of avoid the big numbers and you'll be in contention.

That's what, uh, these ladies did.

And then, um, a- a- and got a different style of golf in the PGA Tour this week at the Rocket Classic, where it's make as many birdies as you can, and we had Michael Thorbjørnksen win that as well.

So we've got some golf to, to cover.

What...

Give me just first thoughts on the top of your head, Harrison.

What's, what's going through your mind after, after the golf this weekend?

Yeah.

Um, it's always fun kind of seeing Lytham back on the-

Yeah

... back on a schedule.

Um, you know, it- Lytham is a fantastic golf course.

It's a great inland links, so it's very different to some of the other ones that we typically-

Yeah

... see, which is why I like kind of see it in the rotation.

Um, you know, it's, it's a very, it's a, it's a golf course that really rewards driving.

So, in the, on the front nine, it all goes back out into the middle of, into m- into the middle of, um, oh, God, what, what town's it in? I always think it's in Lytham.

I think that's, that's probably why it's called Royal Lytham.

Yeah, sure.

Um, but it goes all the way out, it comes all the way back.

So you have, and in the last four or five stretch, comes back, um, back west, I believe.

So, you have like three or four different, um, winds going on throughout the whole, throughout the whole golf course.

And, um, so it's ver- it's a very strange golf course.

I played the Lytham Trophy a few times.
