We'll start with the Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour, the final event of the regular season.

Michael Brennan wins it by three.

That's his second win on the PGA Tour, and actually a fascinating story if you remember from last fall.

He got a sponsor exemption into the Utah event- Mm-hmm ... uh, after playing in the PGA Tour Americas and was kind of running up the scoreboard on that tour, and then wins there, and kind of through that earns PGA Tour status.

Now he's got a second win.

Um, one of those bright young stars, tons of speed, but at a course like this, you have to showcase other parts of your game, and he clearly did so.

Yeah, for sure.

And I think, um, I think it was also about he was at 105 going into the week.

Um, obviously last event before the playoffs.

Yeah.

Bumps him into the top 50.

Gets him into the f- the f- playoffs in general.

Mm-hmm.

He's now top 35 in the world, so he's got into a, into the Masters for next year too.

There's a lot of cool things that's happening in Brennan's world.

And like you said, this time last year he was- Yeah ... still playing on the Americas.

So, and I was listening, I'm gonna credit the, uh, the No Laying Pod- uh, No Laying Up podcast for this.

Funny side story here, his brother won their- Yeah ... club championship this weekend, and so now I, I, I think that the way it goes is in the Brennan family, Mom, Dad, and Michael and his brother have all won the club championship- Yeah ... at their local club, which is, what a weekend [laughs].

Yeah, that's, uh, so I saw him talking about it on the interview, and he had, he looked so proud about his bro- uh, his brother winning.

I was like, "You just won on the PGA Tour." [laughs] And you got into the Masters.

It's, yeah.

This is awesome.

I was like- Just thinking about his brother winning a club championship, uh.

[laughs] So that's, that's pretty cool, and it, um, seems like they're, you know, as a family, but also Michael seems like he's easy to root for.

Yeah.
