Uh, plenty to come up this week.

Some preambly stuff, Joe.

We've got plenty of it before we get stuck into the Mizuno irons.

Firstly, bifurcation, Rory McIlroy was talking about this at the Tour Championship Atlanta, and because of the unique way we film this, uh, podcast, we're obviously really late on it, but it's worth talking about anyway.

So yeah, for the half marathon I really like them.

The other one you can pick up really, really cheap is, and it shows you they never sold any of them, was the Mizuno, I always say it wrong, get hammered in the comments.

They had a series of shoes called the Hyperwarp shoes, and they all came out and they were, like, 220, 230 quid.

They were, like, the wrong price.

if you said to me before, "You gotta go and run at the Great North Run hard," I'd probably go, "Oh, I might, I might, I'll even go Deviate Nitro Elite 4." I might even chuck in those Mizuno Hyperwarp Elites, 'cause they're, uh, a proper racy shoe.

Like, light as, like, like nothing on your feet.

I'm not saying, again, what I feel that he's kind of talking about is that, that feeling of being able to rotate the club faster.

And a perfect example was, um, a couple of years ago, um, so Grayson Murray, who won in Hawaii, at the time, he was using, um, a Mizuno driver, and they had two different models.

They had the, the more, um, flatter, higher MOI model, and the model that they actually marketed as more of like a draw model, which was slightly deeper and shorter from heel to toe.

And he preferred using the draw model that was in their lineup because of its shorter heel-toe and higher face height.

So he would, like, for him, he felt like he could close the club face faster.

I remember asking the folks at Mizuno about this.

And, uh, for him and other players who might say also wanna try and hit draws at, at any particular time, there is that feeling of that anytime that distance from shaft axis to s- to club head center gravity is shorter, it can create more draw bias.

But it also, for players who are highly skilled, can create more what we would call, generally speaking, workability.

I want to ask you in a second, Territory Manager for Nike and Mizuno.

So my question is, how many shoes you got? Just hold on to that.

So that was going to be my question for you.

Do you follow this tactic for all clubs? Do you wait two years for putters? Do you wait two years for irons? Like if they're saying the technology is not there to warrant year to year changes

I got all Mizuno irons, two Mizuno wedges, and I have a 58 degree that's like eight years old.

I love it.

I don't know if I ever get rid of it.

And I'm potentially going down there Thursday to see him.

I'll get a load of Mizuno balls and stuff off him.

And I might spend half hour, 45 minutes just on that.
