PGA Tour Americas

Yeah, so I mean, Michael Brennan, now a three-time PGA Tour winner, I believe, after just most recently winning in Japan.

He was at our property playing PGA Tour Americas in 2025, most recently.

He was back here again in 2026 on the PGA Tour, playing in the RBC Canadian Open.

Johnny Kiefer, who's excelled, you know, the Korn Ferry Tour, Again, all the Canadians have come through the tour stops with Taylor and Corey and Mac.

So it's great to see them succeeding as well.

Yeah, there's a whole host of players.

I think the credibility of PGA Tour Americas really has stood the test of time.

And I think it's important as we transition into a new PGA Tour in 2028.

So, you know, we had to kind of reset last offseason and or two years ago, figure out what went wrong, what can we do better.

So I went back to America's last year, won again, played a really nice full season of solid golf.

I only won one time, but I had a lot of great top finishes.

And I felt like coming back to Korn Ferry this year, I was ready in a way that I wasn't ready prior.

Like I was just telling you my whole, my whole life has just been like, yeah, let's just kind of see what happens this next time.

And I've always kind of had success that next level.

Um, and then the winning on the Americas or Canada is really different than winning on the corn fairy.

Like it was a nationally broadcasted event.

That was the level before the Corn Fairy.

And now it's called the PGA Tour Americas.

Okay.

Because there used to be a Latin PGA Tour and then a Canada PGA Tour.

That's another way to get direct, direct access to the PGA tour.

I believe if you're five through 10, you go to the corn fairy tour and maybe 10 to 15, go to PGA tour Americas.

Kihei has accumulated 12 points so far, and if he finishes top 5 this week, he will get 2 more points.

If he finishes top 10, he will get 1 more point.

Omar Morales was the other one who...

I knew Alvaro would be in contention.

Omar Morales was the other one who I thought would at least be in the top 40 coming into this week with the way he's pulled out on PGA Tour Americas.

We had him to top 40.

I'll just take you back to that sort of phase after college where you'd graduated and were trying to find your path as a professional.

You've obviously been part of the PGA Tour ecosystem and you came through the America's Tour.

I mean, you left that late as well.

It seems a bit of a theme so far, right? Was it the final event of the season?

I played the Latin America tour my first season.

Played well, but didn't progress.

Going back to this new tour that they created the following year, the Americas, which combined the Latin tour and Canada, I was excited to be going back to a lot of the same courses in South America which, you know, I've always felt like was, you know, an advantage like to be able to go to um a course you've already played like realize like okay what did i do well what could i maybe do better and be more comfortable on a lot of these courses um so i came in with a lot of confidence and i'd played very nicely and maybe struggled a little bit more in canada with new courses and kind of a different type of golf it seemed like a lot more demand on lots of birdies and low scores um But yeah, the final event, I kind of came back from maybe like 20th place, finished with a round of four under in extremely difficult conditions on a difficult golf course to finish solo second.

And solo second was what I needed to get my tour card for the following year.

But also to see guys like Marcus Bird, you know, play on the Corn Ferry.

He's doing really well on PGA Tour Americas.

Willie Mack has won 70 mini tour events.

And he continues to amaze me, you know, how he continues to grind.
