But, um, that said, uh, I, yeah, I encourage Edmontonians to come, come down and check it out.

And it is a PGA Tour Americas event.

Uh, so for those wondering, like, what, what is the ATB Classic PGA Tours America event? And then, uh, our buddy Colin Livingston from Cantork just text in.

But there's a lot of guys that are in that situation where they have to decide, "Do I wanna play Walker Cup? Do I wanna try and make a team? Do I wanna turn pro?" E- every senior has to deal with that.

You finished PGA Tour U at 37th at the end of last year, and obviously that 25th spot is the cutoff to get PGA Tour Americas status.

Now, you were about, I don't know, 80, 90 points away from the 25th spot, which sounds like a lot, but it's, it's really not.

Because when you look at it, you know, you had a couple T-22s and T-33s.

Yeah.

I would suspect that one of these years, Drake is, especially if he remains with the Sens, is going to tee it up at the PGA Tour Americas.

Yeah.

That Claude Giroux did two years ago.

He was either hung over or super fucked up, and there was no in-between.

So there wasn't a lot of ropes at this tournament because it's PGA Tour America, so it's not like they had tens of thousands of people that they need to crowd control.

So you can just kind of walk with the players, and as long as you're not in their personal bubble, they don't really care.

So we were on one of the cart paths, and the players are walking down the cart path between holes, and we're kind of off the side of the cart path.

And I know guys that probably finished in that 12, 13, 14 on PGA Tour U last year that they were forced to make a decision of, do I take a PGA Tour Americas card or do I try and represent my country on the Walker Cup team? And that's a terrible place to be.

I would hate to have a kid think that.

And as you can probably attest to, a handful of tournaments on the America's Tour or the Asian Tour does not dictate the strength or the success of a 15, 20-year professional career.

Right.

No, it does not.

It's cool to see his work now being recognized globally for anybody that's ever met him.

Looking ahead, Blackhawk is also set to host the PGA Tour Americas event here in the city in a couple of weeks.

How important is that event for the club to showcase the course to the next generation of professional golfers, and what can spectators expect to see if they come out and watch that week?

Yeah, it's very cool for us.
