Wood

And this is right when metal is coming into the game.

Persimmon was still around.

And the younger player came around and hit Persimmon driver out of sight and made it look easy.

And I thought it was the coolest thing I've ever seen.

That sounded like a gunshot.

We do.

Uh, a guy who has played on the stage with Huey Lewis and countless other, uh, rock stars, and has played golf with Arnie, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, e- et cetera, Tom Watson, et cetera.

He's play- he spanned generations-

Right

Uh, Peter, you played, uh, on the PGA Tour almost three decades, wins 23 years apart.

You won in 2003 at the age of 49.

So what that means is you played alongside Jack and Tom Watson and Arnie, and then you were there when Tiger Woods, uh, arrived on the scene and, and, and changed everything.

Um, who scared you the most on the golf course to play against?

And I think for the average golfer, it just makes golf that much more fun.

So did you ever play Persimmon?

I did, yeah.

You played Persimmon at one point?

I had one-

No

It was so good.

So, yep.

Yeah.

Louisville golf, the Persimmon people.

Yeah.

The Persimmon.

I've been in that factory with Jody mud before.

That was cool.

Yep.

Yeah.
