In fact, as we sit here today, we have T-minus about 12 days until the election's over.
We've had a couple of them already and two this week, at least among our aspirants for the Minnesota governor's office.
I know that at least one correspondent here was physically present for one of the debates.
I was like out in the field reporting live back live from the Minnesota Chamber debate Monday morning at 9 a.m. 9 a.m. up at Madden's on Gull Lake in the Brainerd, beautiful Brainerd Lakes area.
Um, but it was well attended by folks from frankly across the state there are a lot of a lot of people from the metro that drove up for the debate, but I actually, I thought it was really good.
I did spend some time with Senator Klobuchar afterwards and And she I know she felt good, but I think both of them did a good job.
And, you know, I was thinking about when we recorded last week, which was last Friday, there had been zero gubernatorial debates.
Did we learn a ton of new things about the candidates? I mean, from our vantage point, probably not because we engage with both of them a lot.
But for the general public, I think it was really good to see them side by side and some actual policy discussions.
We both would – I don't know that Speaker Damoth commented on it, but Senator Klobuchar noted she would not have pardoned a sex offender, which we've discussed on this show.
