After we went off the air last week, they did drop the numbers for the week of August 31st through September 4th.
And these are the numbers for both General Hospital and Beyond the Gates in terms of total viewers.
In the household share, we have a tie, GH a 1.2, and BTG also had more TVs on watching the show during that hour with a 1.2 as well.
In the day-to-day numbers, in women 18 to 49, these are the ratings for Beyond the Gates on Monday.
Then in women, 25 to 54, the numbers were Monday and Wednesday, 0.26. Tuesday, 0.33. And Thursday was up to a 0.30 from the day before.
For general hospital, in women 18 to 49, their best day by far was Monday with a 0.23. Tuesday and Wednesday, 0.18. Thursday and Friday, they were down 2%.
In women 25 to 54, the numbers were on Monday, 0.25, and Friday, 0.25. On Tuesday, 0.22, Wednesday, 0.24, and Thursday, 0.26. Jasmine, your thoughts on these numbers from last month?
all I can say is as per usual, I'm glad that BTG is on top of GH because, you know, we keep saying that general hospital needs to start taking things seriously and they need to start taking the, you know, they need to start taking this ratings war seriously because GH has gotten too complacent and they're like, far too comfortable with like their you know the fact that they have you know a lot of moments where they're where they're above btg and they believe that they can you know that apparently they must believe that btg can you know can't top them or whatever but i feel like these numbers speak for themselves in the way that it's just a reminder that what we said you know several months ago uh like leading up to like when we knew that drew was going to be waking up that people were going to get to a point of exhaustion where they were just going to be tuned out of the show completely because gh is doing the same thing over and over and over again like it's constantly drew versus you know willow versus nina versus the world and like you know and nobody wants to watch that over and over again and then they're doing all this WSB nonsense over and over and over again.
It's never ending.
Like the, the show has become literally WSB hospital at this point.
And then there's like, they're spending so much time on these teenagers, like, which obviously I know that there has to be like a fair balance of like screen time and that the, the, you know, the young, the, you know, the younger kids do need to be shown.
Cause like we, you know, we're, we saw like the, you know, Cam and Joss and Trina and Spencer and, you know, all of them, when they were, when they were younger, when they were teenagers, we saw them, but, you know, but, but, but at least, at least when we were seeing them back, you know, in their teen years, the storylines were ones that we could hold onto.
But these right now, like with them wanting to go after Drew and, and, and, you know, obviously I know, I don't think, I don't think that's, this is, this is the week that we're looking at, but just, just still have to point out like the cringe factor of them having Charlotte try to try to, you know trap drew by making it look like he was doing something like he was having a sexual relationship with her like i actually said what in the law and order is going in law and order sp was going on here because that was just cringe like i i don't know what's going on over there at prospect studios i don't know what's going on in that writer's room i don't i don't know but they need to fix it because it's it's just it's a mess and the ratings are showing
And I try to be fair about I give the show props when they have a good week or two, when they soap, and then they go right back to what they always do.
