Zelensky tells CBS News Russia twice tried to target his plane with drones in recent weeks.

The first incident happened on September 9th, when Zelensky was flying from Chisinau to Oslo.

That's, this is from Moldova to Oslo.

And, uh, thankfully, new photos have been obtained showing the damage.

Uh, now interestingly enough, it's CBS News, so, hey, they're still doing some work, I guess.

Uh, but the Defense Department's Inspector General this week also released a fresh report on the war that revealed equipment losses, uh, which, uh, the, people didn't leave it behind at the train station, it was blown up, uh, worth up to 30-... $3.7 billion, including nearly 60 aircraft.

She didn't come there to build 60 Minutes.

She came there to destroy it and to destroy CBS News.

And she is doing her job very, very effectively.

I remember how frustrating it was for me when I was at CBS News for a lot of different reasons.

But one, I saw the writing on the wall that linear television news was declining.

And I said to the executives, can we please lean into our digital platform? We can continue to have, like if there's a convention and we have to break for local news, we can continue to cover things online, primaries, et cetera, et cetera.

Indeed, there has been massive damage to U.S. infrastructure in the Gulf.

On Tuesday, CBS News published images documenting the destruction of U.S. assets in the region.

This is a major public damage to our bases that has not been communicated to the American public, one deployed service member told CBS News.

We're standing there with our eyes closed, getting punched in the face.

is what he said it felt like to be there.

So you see plane damage by Iranian strikes.

And these are all, of course, leaked photos.

We don't have official reports about what has been damaged that includes all this stuff, but CBS News was able to get their hands on a bunch of the photos of the aftermath.
