Hey, General Hospital fans, we have got Britt Westbourne determined to make Anna Devane pay for trying to kill her, but Jason Morgan is certain that Anna wouldn't have really killed Britt.

This is about to cause some serious discord in Jason and Britt's relationship, and it could absolutely end them.

It's Belinda from Soap Dirt, and we are going to talk about GH setting the stage for Jason to call it quits with Brit, and it's all about Anna.

So as you know, Jason was there for Britt when she needed him, but that may change soon because you can already see that Jason does not want Anna to get locked up for this incident, and that's going to cause serious problems between Jason and Britt.

Not only is Anna nearly shooting Britt, a huge problem for their future, but also some of her recent past with Colum is going to be another problem.

An official false spoiler for General Hospital says that decisions Britt made to stay alive while under Cullum's thumb will come back to haunt her and may prove too difficult for Jason and Britt to survive as a couple.

And of course, all the Cullum stuff ties back to both Anna and to Britt.

We do have a name in this episode, and I do believe we talked about this person maybe in the last year or so.

Playing Sibyl Bloomberg is Dawn Jeffory For some reason we talked about her as a panelist on Match Game PM, and what her claim to fame was for her to be on Match Game PM, she was on 11 episodes of General Hospital in 1980.

That's really the biggest thing she did in her career, minus voicing Mary Marvel in The Kids Super Power Hour with Shazam back in 1981.

Don't know why this little random nugget popped in my head, but, you know, sometimes the brain works that way.

What's the name of the small, quirky Connecticut town where Lorelai and Rory live? Is it Stars Hollow, Port Charles, Salem Hollow, or Pine Valley?

Port Charles, that was General Hospital, I think.

So, I don't think it was that.

My dear friend, Paul Antonelli, who was also a music supervisor and you guys probably know of him.

He's been around all the shows and he and I worked together on General Hospital.

He hired me to compose for a couple of other soaps he worked on, and then again, he and I worked together on Y&R for a while.

Anyway, back at the time, he was a keyboardist in the band Animotion.

Um, or I might go, okay, I'm just going to stop right now and write for this one scene and get this whole thing done.

And, um, it's for me, it's my writing style.

I, my mentor was a gentleman by the name of Marty Davich, who was, uh, the second composer i worked under when i started back at general hospital way back in 1990 he came along i think around 93 94 and he went on to compose for er the entire time was on the air and i wrote under him and learned from him and he would constantly say to me the music needs to be part of the conversation it needs to not overwhelm it it needs to be part of the conversation and i it's very difficult to translate that into musical terms especially if i'm not showing you something if we're just talking about it but it's the idea is that music is a character in there but it's not overtaking the scene um so so that's my approach there are other times when it's obvious where or or i know from the producers and the writers that they want music to carry a scene you know it's a montage there's no dialogue and we want the music to be big and we want to do this we wanted to do that that's a different process but the day-to-day process of scenes where you're finding the moment in a every individual scene can feel like it has an arc and there's a moment in the middle of that scene where it feels like it it turns or my gut strikes me that oh this is this is the meat of what the writer wanted the audience to feel in this particular scene in this moment and i kind of try to grab that and figure out how i'm gonna say let's say the emotion is sad what's rc's version of sad that helps uh support We want the audience to feel this sadness here.

How do I amplify that? What do I do there? And my barometer on all of it is I know it's not real.

Rick Springfield? Oh, yeah, he came from Australia.

But he didn't make it big until General Hospital.

I'll never forget taking a phone call and, man, this lady was very upset that General Hospital wasn't on.
