Episode 120 // Tales from The North

Sure, yeah, because I think the last time we recorded, I was in Edmonton about to leave to Bear Camp, or maybe I was at home, but I think I was in Edmonton for some reason.

But yeah, no, Bear Camp went really good.

So it's in southern, south-central British Columbia, 45 minutes or an hour outside of Vernon.

It was my second year down there.

uh, flew in a couple of days or flew in, drove there.

It's like 1500 kilometer drive, drove down there, got there a couple of days early.

So we could scout around and look for bears, look for sign.

I found my first Shira's moose paddle.

So I was stoked on that.

That was awesome.

So now I just got to find like an Alaska Yukon moose paddle and I'll have all three sheds off all three.

But anyway, that's another thought in my

brain.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Don't get me started on the caribou.

I think I found all three caribou, so I'm pretty pumped on that.

I got mountain, barren ground, and the woodland.

That's pretty sweet.

I want to find a really nice woodland caribou shed.

Anyway,

way off topic.

We had, I had two hunters on first week and I did a fair bit of scouting on the couple of days prior.

So like I knew where I wanted to be and we got onto bears pretty early in the day, had this logging road that had a pile of grass, pile of clover.

There was a lot of rain over there this spring.
