Another thing to keep in mind is that once it snows, those discarded needles are hidden and this becomes very dangerous, especially for kids.

No decaying structures or timber boards left from the lively home where Willie grew up.

Standing here, like this, reminds me of when my dad took me to Regina Beach, Saskatchewan, to show me where my Métis great-grandparents lived.

Then Saturday, September the 19th, it's Ladies' Night with the Housewives of the South Shore over at the South Shore Recreation Center at 133 Donneville Crescent in Regina Beach.

The festival begins at 10 a.m. and later in the evening there's the Lantern Parade, an outdoor movie, and then fireworks.

Also on September the 26th, the Regina Beach Lions are holding their annual Foul Supper from 4.30 to 7.30 over in Regina Beach.

Look, about a month ago, I was in Regina Beach.

Jamie and Willie Mack put on the 20th anniversary for Task Force Orion.

And there was probably, I don't know, they'd have better scale numbers than I do.

That's what we're getting now on the phone, a number of people that are picking up the phone, giving us a call, weighing in who have military experience.

Hey, how's it going, Evan? Good.

One of those buildings was the Kettleston School.

Built in 1912 in the hamlet of Kettleston, northwest of Regina Beach, the little one-room school served generations of children until 1963.

It wasn't used only for lessons.

Over the years, the building also hosted church services, weddings, and agricultural shows.

It runs from 8.30 at night until 1 in the morning.

Admission is $10 and includes a Duck Derby ticket.

And then Sunday, September 6, is the final Regina Beach Farmers Market of the 2026 season.

It runs from 11 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon down at 224 Center Street in Regina Beach.
