E44 | Coddle or Cut the Strings?

Um, ran into, well, you know what? I'm going to save that.

Let me save that part.

So looking at things throughout the week, um, they say things come in threes, but I'm pretty sure we're on the start of the second number three.

Unfortunately, this is a negative coming in threes so Hollywood um well just anybody in general has lost a legend Dolly Parton passed away on Tuesday I believe it was at the age of 80 um I saw somewhere that she, I guess, most recently was battling a short stint of cancer.

Not quite true.

Well, not quite sure how true that is.

A lot of what I saw was she was trying to deal with dehydration, I think kidney stones, but very sad.

Like, Dolly.

Everybody knows Dolly.

Whether you realize you know Dolly or not, anybody who's anybody knows Whitney Houston saying, I will always love you.

Well, I If you didn't know, now you know that that wasn't actually Whitney Houston's song.

That was Dolly Parton's song.

Dolly Parton wrote that and performed it first.

And Whitney Houston redid the song.

So if you don't think you know Dolly, I bet you do and just don't realize it.

Of course, she had the catchy tune from the show that she was on for a stint, 9 to 5.

So, yeah, sad.

Sad to see another icon pass.

We also, over this past week, lost Tim Curry.

who also passed away at the age of 80 and also on August 25th.

I thought that was quite odd.

I know for me, the first role that I thought about was Home Alone.

I think it was the second one.

And I'm pretty sure he worked in the hotel.

If you're not quite sure who Tim Curry is, look him up.
