Carton Slams Eagles Over Jalen Hurts' Scary Medical Situation | The Carton Show with Chris McMonigle

So here's the predicament you find yourselves in.

You have to now decide, "Do I wanna be a good person?"

[laughs]

"Or do I wanna be a huge fan?"

Mm-hmm.

And for this one particular conversation, you can't be both.

Here's what I'm saying.

As you may have just heard, if you are, or if you haven't heard, you're just tuning in, the Philadelphia Eagles announced today that their All-World quarterback, Jalen Hurts, unfortunately has a blood clot in his calf.

Mm-hmm.

And as a result of having that blood clot, and all the dangers that come along with having a blood clot, especially if you play a violent sport-

Mm-hmm

... uh, he is out indefinitely now as the starting quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Here comes the predicament you people now find yourselves in.

On one side, that is fantastic news for the New York Giant fan.

Mm-hmm.

On the other side, it's a very scary medical situation, and you don't wish that even on the starting quarterback of the hated rival.

Of course not.

So as you sit here today, are you leaning towards, "Woo-hoo, great news for the Giants" ?

[laughs]

Or are you leaning towards, "Man, I really feel for Jalen Hurts.

I'm gonna say a prayer for him, and hope I, I hope he gets back on the field as soon as possible"? Mr.

Big Mac.

Yeah.

You can only pick A or B.

I have to pick A or B.
