So my reading of the situation, and Shaughnessy I'm sorry this might come off as tough to you, is that he came out and said essentially that he got dinged up in that game on the shoulder.

But the way that he said it was so vague and strange that then they had to kind of reverse engineer-

the injury report because he revealed that he got hurt, but he wasn't injured.

And so was he hurt so bad that he needed to be listed on the injury report? That's something that is still a little strange because Mike Vrabel was asked on Friday, w- is he getting treatment? And Vrabel was even vague about that.

And so the way that I see it is that he got dinged up during the game, maybe it's the level of injury on that shoulder that is sensitive to him because it impacted his playoff performance and his Super Bowl performance so extremely, but not the kind of thing that needs to land a guy on the injury report for all of our purposes.

... and he technically did get dinged up during the game, they had to put him on the injury report even though he's a full participant.

Not to say that he didn't get hurt during the game, but once again, there's a difference between hurt and injured.
I, I, I think it's, it's, uh, it really comes down to that, that, that Drake May, by being evasive, forced the Patriots' hand.
They had to put him on the, on the, uh, on the injury report because of, you know, let's, let's face it, the, the Patriots in the past have had shenanigans and they've, uh, been the target for, uh, just how, you know, the injury reports of who they put on there and whatnot.
So, um, I, I just think that because he wouldn't answer the question directly, um... and you heard Vrabel, uh, when he, after he did, uh, on the, this past Friday, uh, press conference, he was like, 'cause they went on the, he went on the, uh, injury list I guess on Thur- on Wednesday.
He said, you know, "Protocol, protocol, protocol." It felt as if it almost came from above him.
