Over the weekend, I saw some interesting trade rumors that continue to persist, I guess, in the rumor mill.

But the one thing that's interesting that I saw was a rumor that'll happen down the line, closer to the trade deadline, of solving the Pajemski problem.

And the Pajemski problem is he's not going to sign with the team long term, so you've got to trade him and see what you can get for him.

Now, P.J. Washington, I like him mostly because he's on a more affordable contract when it comes to a great wing, but those picks are just as important.

Now, this whole trade would revolve around Kyrie Irving going to the Detroit Pistons.
What was it?

Now, there's a lot of here's and there's regarding this trade, but the fact is P.J. Washington is going to offer a perfect, at least, future with the Warriors.

Because, one, he's a wing that... obviously is affordable, can play both ways pretty solid, and you go past this season, he's still under an affordable contract.

You don't have to worry about maybe filling that role out as a starter and, say, have Steph, whoever's playing the two, and then you have PJ, and then Yaxel Enborg at the four.

And I do like those three as starters overall, but those second round picks are going to pay dividends down the road, especially since the Warriors only have their first round picks going into the next few years.

If I remember correctly, they traded all their picks in exchange for, who was it? It was, he just actually signed an extension.

It was, well, they ended up getting back, or excuse me, they ended up getting back Gary Payton II in exchange for him.

And they've come to show that they are good at really selecting those second rounders and making those second rounders last.

And then getting a guy like P.J. Washington... does add on to that so I like that this is at least the first trade rumor that I've heard in a while that makes a lot of sense now the other one that keeps persisting and it's a little frustrating hearing it over and over and over again is the Devin Booker trade now I know it's multiple first-round picks, Yaxel, some way-down-the-line second-round picks, and then I think they throw in Jimmy Butler in there to really round it out.
