But Dylan Brooks, there was a couple of plays where he just kind of let him go.

And there was a couple of plays where Colin Gillespie got switched on to him and he was guarding him.

Devin Booker there hunting a little bit.

Jalen Green, who, by the way, I mean, I've seen Suns fans be complaining about their starting lineup.

He just wasn't the guy that you needed tonight to lift you above and beyond.

Like Jamal Murray showed that he's got some cojones on him and he went out there and had a huge second half and played well and took over that game and Devin didn't do that tonight, and that's what you needed because everybody else, including Miles Bridges, Dylan Brooks before he got thrown out, Colin Gillespie, Jordan Goodwin to an extent, they all stepped up and played well offensively.

But there was no juice, and that's before you even get to the Jalen Green of it all, who went completely MIA, and this guy's sitting on a $36 million contract and wanting an extension, and he's putting up a two-point game here.

That is unacceptable as well.

And it was really just their starters.

Their bench had 12 points.

Denver's bench had 12 points in this game, whereas the Suns, Colin Gillespie, 16 points.

Jordan Goodwin, 11 points.

We need to move all the assists that they had.

A big part of this is Colin Gillespie, which I'll probably, and we will probably talk about later on in this podcast.

There's frustration and that there's a feel that they need a true point guard.

I had that refuted to me by some that suggested, no, that's not the case, but also that they have immense belief in Colin Gillespie.

They feel he's a top 10 to 15 player.

It didn't matter who it was with.

Jalen Green, Colin Gillespie.

It didn't matter.

And this is going to be a trend throughout the night.

Devin Booker was not good tonight once again.

You hate to pick on a guy on his birthday, but he was just, I mean, just flat out not good again.

And Colin Gillespie is making a strong case for not just him to start, but Oso Iguodoro as well.

Let's talk about that next.

Here's one thing they could try.

Start fucking Colin Gillespie over Jalen Green or even start him over Miles Bridges.

I don't care.

I'm not saying that solves everything, but they do in fear.

Jordan Goodwin and Collin Gillespie both played miles better than Jalen Green tonight.

Jalen Green, two points, one of six from the field, O of two from deep, two rebounds, two assists, two turnovers in 25 minutes.

Colin Gillespie, by the way, 33 minutes tonight, 16 points, six of 11 from the field, four of eight from deep, 10 assists, three rebounds, four steals, and a block.

I will say this, and I tweeted this as well.

I kind of feel bad for Jalen Green because Jalen Green is not in a position to succeed, right? And again, is Jalen Green not like Is Jalen Green not performing to the expectations that you should expect him for somebody of his contract? Yes.

I'm not going to try to sit here and excuse Jalen Green by any means as far as how he played tonight.

But I will just say, looking at this team and looking at this situation from a bird's eye view, Jalen Green's in a really rough spot because it's clear that Jordan values Colin Gillespie more.

And I don't blame him for valuing Colin Gillespie more.

Because at least with the other end of that, you are making teams guard you.

And what you saw last night from the Suns was they often had, this is a sign of disrespect, they often had Colin Gillespie guarding Christian.

And that was the we don't care about you defense.

I'm just going to be straight up.

They did not care about Christian.

They were going to make him start shooting.

And I think by the fourth quarter, they came around and started actually guarding him and take Colin Gillespie off of him.

But having Colin on Christian Brown was basically a sign of like, yeah, this guy.
