Marcus Freeman, Micah Gilbert & Cam Williams

Okay, let's switch sides of the ball as we move into our Your Play, Your Way segment presented by True Value Hardware.

We're going to break down the film.

It leads me to talk about Micah Gilbert.

The first two plays we're going to watch come from him.

I believe the stat, and it's going to be a great episode with Micah because he's going to be here talking to us a little bit later, but most receiving yards in almost a decade at Notre Dame.

So you had a great game.

We know that.

But you're going to show us the two big catches downfield and kind of explain how they work, and the first one's the first play of the game.

Yeah.

You know, before we even get into it, it's like that's just a result of continuously hard work doing what you're supposed to do and the decision that the quarterback made and the defense, the look the defense gave you to throw you that ball.

It's like I don't want people to think that Micah Gilbert didn't do anything the first two games.

I mean, he And he was really done a really good job.

The ball just doesn't always go his way.

And same thing with Jaden Greathouse and probably doesn't have the stats.

But you talk about pluses and minus like he's got a lot of pluses.

And so what you'll see, I think, is is in these two clips.

Right.

Very first play of the game.

We were expecting them to be in some type of.

We thought they were going to try to stop the run.

They're aggressive to stop the run.

They have a lot of pride in doing that.

And so what we had to read was, is it one high or two high? You know, I think our coaches had a great idea of what we were going to see.

But you also have to protect.

What you'll see is a couple different things.
