Sean McCannHostAnd so there's two orders to the Sefirot, and this is like kind of essential Kabbalah.
Like if, if, if you wanna understa- begin to understand Kabbalah, you have to at, at- at least recognize that the two orders of the Sefirot are kind of like, uh, they can feel oftentimes like lines in the sand.
Because we're talking about one, one order is y- what we could call the organic order, which is the order of the Shefa or the, what we, we call the emanated flow.
So it's saying, e- Kabbalah is, is communicating, and Sefer Yetzirah is communicating, uh, that, that th- there is this pattern which we see in, in endless variety, yet there's the same underlying template, so to speak.
And so these patterns that we recognize in nature, like the Fibonacci sequence, is like essentially what the tree of life really is on one level if, if we're looking at that order of the Sefirot because it's communicated as lightning, uh, trees, so it's the tree of life, and it's the human body.
And what do all these things have in com- common? They're all natural expressions from that, that intelligence that, for lack of a, of a better word, we could just call nature or God.
So there is an intelligence that we see evidenced in the way that things come into form.
And then at the same time, there's what we could call the sustaining order of the empire, which is secondary to that.
So the, those, that is communicated as the two pillars of the tree 'cause really there's only one pillar.
You know what I mean? Like the, the, but we're relating to things through this duplicity.
And so the tree of life in terms of the organic order is actually communicating a polarity that exists in nature.
When you're looking at the secondary order or what I would call the sustaining order of the empire, you're actually looking at us replicating that with our minds and our hands with what we build.
And so all of our systems, whether you're talking about governments or how to build a car or whatever it is, is basically applying that secondary order.
And so the war- the warning or at least, you know, um, something to pay attention to [chuckles] is just the, the degree to which we conflate those two orders and treat one as though it's the other.
So we're, we're projecting duality on top of a polarity, I think is the best way to say it.
And we relate to that duality that we're projecting as though it was the polarity itself, and we react to it as though it were that thing.
And this, this translates to the nature of ego too because it's like, you know, they say like if, if you get attacked by a saber-toothed tiger, like we have a fear mechanism that's in place to respond to that threat.
But people will contract and relate to threats to a projected sense of self as though it's their own physical, natural self.
And so that's one of the things that Kabbalah communicates is, is that this order is actually, in a way can feel like it's coming close to the other underlying order.
And because of that, it's, it, it, it works as, uh, as kind of an idolatrous, a normalized idolatry.
And so there's two orders to the Sefirot, and this is like kind of essential Kabbalah.
