Is This Thing On?

So my parents loved each other very much.

And they decided to settle down in Alexandria, Virginia.

And I'm not going to go back that far.

But we moved to Charleston.

I grew up there.

I was a musical theater kid.

And that's sort of how I got my taste for music.

being annoying and funny and weird in that space sort of.

So from a very young age, I always sort of knew I was gonna maybe do something like this.

I never expected anything quite like this.

But fast forward, went to college, studied film.

I was in Nashville, Tennessee at Belmont University.

Go Bruins! Paws up! That's not a cheer because we actually didn't have that much school spirit, but that's something a little I coined a little bit.

You'll be hearing that maybe a bit.

But yeah, so studied film there was very excited to study film because I was never like a school person.

And I finally got to like actually take classes about something I cared about.

And I had this dream of, oh, well, if I can't be like in front of the camera, might as well learn the rules behind the camera because what are the freaking odds would end up in front of a camera? So I did the whole film student, PA on the weekends for my fellow students.

I wasn't a whiz at it, let's be honest.

And that's okay.

I'm sort of a Jacqueline of all trades.

And I graduated and I found myself stuck back

in my parents' house.

And that was okay.

And it was fine.

And we made it and it was six months.
