And it came into being because they tried to do plays with children and children obviously can't run the plays because they have school and other commitments.


And because I was not a natural Hindi speaker, so I was given the role of a watchman.

Before I would enter, there would be a buzz in the audience which I could hear in the Prithvi Wings.

And then it reached a point where I would go on stage and they would say my lines with me.

Because I mean, sometimes we talk of children's theater, there is an attempt to dumbify.


And there was a certain kind of sort of collective societal amnesia about Nazism.
