But why do you think that it's so difficult?

I think two, three things.

One is theater, I believe, number one, is a minority art.

And we should get that very, very clear, that it's minority in the presence of all these other art forms which are majority, number one.

Number two is that it's also jostling for attention with a whole lot of other things.

Sometimes very unfairly, and I think unnecessarily, we tend to, you know, judge ourselves in terms of where it's going, why it's going, where it's going.

It's an art form which has thrived for 2,500 years.
