Fairly standard, except the engine's a little bit tweaky.

And, yeah, sort of a lot more compression than a bog standard.

Lightened flywheel.

Gets raced and rallied a bit.

Even done Le Mans Classic, Brighton Speed Trials, and been around Goodwood a few times as well.

obviously owned this for quite some time

i've had it since 2003 and then prior to that my dad had it right so it's been in the family for 30 years now

good and you're just getting used to it then

yeah i've done nearly 50 000 miles in that time and they've been hard miles you know it sort of doesn't get showed much mercy so it's just returned on friday from a major amount of work on the brakes and so on with I ended up with a large bill and a bag full of bits of bent pins and stuff like that, and the bloke said, well, you've used it well.

Where did you get your work done? At Vintage Bentley, a fellow called William Metcalfe runs it, and he's down near Petersfield.

We made a film about him a few years ago.

It's a splendid set-up he's got there.

Yeah, yeah, I mean, it's second to none, really.

I've been going to Ophelia and Bicester, and then I changed to going to William.

I've known William for a few years, and I was like, no, let's go for it type thing.

He's done some

remarkable things, and he's an addict.

He's totally OCD with pre-1930 Bentleys, isn't he? But he's got all the knowledge to go with that.

Yeah, he's very knowledgeable.
