Whoa, Shuhei! We’ve got a lot to talk about. Stack it up and feel the power of a terrifying, trophy-hunting trio! Join Tricky, Matt and Alex (on another wayward Monday) as they discuss, among other…
Not a lot to talk about.
For those, I mean, I brought it up maybe a couple months ago when Daryl was on, but it was Louder Than Life weekend this past week.
So I was at a musical festival on the fairgrounds for four days from about like one o'clock to midnight.
11 p.m. every night in the 95 degree heat, just sweating all over the place in the middle of the shit.
So I had a really good time, saw a lot of good bands.
Glad I finally got to see Rise Against the Sleep Theory, got to see Blimp Biscuit, got to see My Chemical Romance.
Favorite performances of the weekend, though, I got to say were The Funeral Portrait and Star Set.
Lots of good stuff going on.
But that means I didn't get a ton of time for gaming.
I did, however, manage to eat at Arby's two days in a row, probably for the first time since college.
So, I mean, that felt good going down, coming out.
I don't know about that.
But not a lot of time for gaming.
Really, kind of my achievements, and I use that very loosely and not as an Xbox achievement, but...
I got the very rare trophy, Rainbow Team.
It's a gold, the only gold in the base game for PixelJunk Monsters for getting a perfect run and not losing essentially any of your little dudes at your base on the specified level in the trophy challenges.
So, difficult trophy to get, most difficult trophy in the game, so I'm glad I got that.
Got my percentage completion up to 77%, so going from 7% to 77% is pretty impressive.
I'm kind of proud of myself on that.
Sticking with it, not giving up because tower defense just kind of befuddles me a lot.
But like I said, trial and error or trial by fire and just finding out what's the best tower to use when and the best placements.
That definitely helps a lot.
My only thing is, though, I can't get the rest of the trophies, I think, because the Encore DLC is no longer available on the PS3, PSN store, and I'm pretty sure the search bar on the PS3 store is broken as well.
