Yeah, so they asked me from transition, they asked me like, yo, for mixtapes, I had a gig at Q, I think it was at Q, talking about rap and hip hop, et cetera.
So I met the guys, I met over there from Transition was like, yo, we're gonna invite you.
And then, cause he mixed tapes.
So he taped the whole set or something.
And then I was like, yeah, cool, whatever.
And then it's like, yo, you have like five mixed tapes that inspired you or was really, really, really, really cool or whatsoever.
That's a hard question.
It's fucking
Too hard? Way too
I didn't even realize it.
Because there's so many and especially with the mixing skills of DJs and etc.
Yeah, I was like, you know, let me just what comes in top of my head directly like boom Let me write that down and what's been bad,
first that came to mind spin bad because of the the mix he made so he made a mixtape We saw the fat beats and it was all 80s.
It was 80s pop but he cuts it up like it's like with bit with juggling and backspinning and nice clean mixes and I was like, yo, you can also do that with with that but I mean, like, if you go further back, of course, you have the Grandmaster Flash Adventures on the Wheels of Steel on the album, where he actually also does it.
But this one, the Spinbad tape was crazy with skits in it.
And I used to love the tape.
And the funny thing about that tape, it got banned because he had no, how you say that? Rights to bring it out.
So when the tape came out, it came out for a little bit, boom, boom.
And the tape went viral in that sense.
Holden Oates, right? Everything is on it.
Everything is on it.
