DJ Clark Kent

And it wasn't a PD.

It was DJ Clark Kent.

Oh, wow.

Happy birthday, Clark.

Yo, Clark Kent would listen every day, and he would text, like, you know, not every day, but he would text.

He'd be like, yo, yo, that was fire.

Yo, I like how you went into this.

No. Yo, that mix was horrendous.

You know, streaming on there, and then it just got more difficult, made sessions shorter.

But, um, the impact I made on, on Instagram was, was crazy, you know? Shout out to D-Nice and, um, you know, rest in peace Clark Kent-

Yeah

... and Rich Medina and Stretch Armstrong.

And what's great is that a lot of our guests,

everyone from like Clark Kent to the technician to like Camillo, they come in here and they're just like, holy shit.

You

want to play with all the gear, man.

Speaking of teams and how you fit in, we've had Spinner here spoken highly of you.

We have Bob Ito spoken highly of you.

And we had our boy Clark Kent speak highly of you.

Rest in peace.

right.

Did you know? It is the birthday of the legendary DJ Clark Kent.

Rest in peace.

Yes, sir.

He was the founder of the Superman DJ squad.

Born and raised in New York, I believe.

Who are you talking about? DJ Clark Kent.

Clark Kent.

yeah i like it i do too

uh so the biggest single from conspiracy was player's anthem she wasn't even supposed to be on it no true the quote that she has was i wasn't even supposed to be on that song for junior mafia they just put the beat on and i was writing to it none of the boys could finish their raps so dj clark kent great fucking yeah uh was

like stole it but still

still fucking sick so dj clark kent was like kim i know you got something going to booth i went in the booth i spit the exact same verse and they kept it the other person that was supposed to be on there ended up not being on there

such a move to be like, Oh, all you boys can't finish your little verses.

Let me just go in there and like freestyle for a second.

that's a classic man that's a classic that

song was produced by the late great dj clark kent that was produced by clark kent there's so much good music

That came out.

But because a lot of this was overshadowed by, like I said, the passing of Pac.

Um, we did get a little tidbit that that break in, um, Brooklyn's Finest, uh, I think B.I.G. was gonna say, uh, "This your final warning, I'm not liked in California." Jay made him take that.

That's why there's a break before Clark Kent comes in on the hook-

Mm-hmm

... because he made him take that out 'cause of the Tupac thing.

That was a good comeback.

He ended up working with Clark Kent.

He worked with...

Oh, someone else said he worked with that, like, I forgot his name.
