Now, on a serious note, N.O.R.E. is facing a civil lawsuit from Carmen Bryan.

Carmen Bryan is the mother of Nas' daughter, Destiny Jones.

Now, she is saying that he sexually assaulted her inside of a club back in 1999.

And you got a chance to work with Nas.

And so I made the track with him in mind, Finer Things is what it's called, and, uh, had the pleasure of having him come into the crib, man, and just come into the studio and just being so, you know, just down to earth and just, he loved the record, he loved the track, and he started to write to it, and the rest is history.

Now granted, at the time, Nas' last album was Nostradamus, and it was not good.

I bought it out of straight-up support as a fan, you know, as a brother in Queensbridge, brother from another mother, Queensbridge, Brooklyn, Bed-Stuy, you know what I'm saying? But it was not good.

And for Jay-Z to be this popular, hit after hit dropping, album after album, to break down Nas' career, right? His albums and how he would produce and the average of those albums being hot over a period of time when really he just was saying like, yo, it was just ill-matic and it was written with, eh, which is not true.

And then, you know, the other ones were trash.

It just seemed like, man, he just destroyed Nas.

There's no coming back for this.

you know because there there are messages going on now in in hip-hop and it is coming full circle with kendrick lamar you know um what he's saying and of course you have, of course, Nas is, you know, of course, he's been, he's not the same generation as Kendrick Lamar.

Nas has been around for over 20 years, you know, so, but yeah, but I think there is, there is, it does come back full circle, and there are people that preach the message, you know, even in every generation of hip-hop, you know, and that's the thing, I mean, you have Mos Def, and you have Talia Kweli, who are reuniting to create the Black Star album again.

So you know they're going to have messages.

And then there's Joey Badass, the young MC, who speaks some truth and speaks a lot of messages in what he's conveying and saying.

So, yeah, I think it's every generation.

There are artists out there that are really – you know, speaking their mind and talking great things.

And also, of course, Common is another one who was born in the Nas generation.

Snoop was saying this.

Oh, really? And then he made this story up about when Tupac had beef with Nas.

Nas came with like 100 people and stuff like that.

And he made some BS up to make Tupac look silly.

And then Nas went on camera and says...

No, that was just exaggerative.

We talked it out and we were fine after that.

It is a political album that addresses social issues such as gun violence, police brutality, race relations, and the effects of social media.

The first track on the album is a collaboration with Nas.

This collaboration tells us the Black Eyed Peas, for the first time in a very long time, is returning to true hip hop.

This is exactly the genre that kickstarted the group's career.
