Dilated Peoples

Then next week, we forgot about what we did, and he's like, yo, we're driving up to go see...

The Far Side or Dilated Peoples or Cypress Hill, but we have like an hour and a half drive.

Listen to what I put together.

So we're like, oh, damn.

We're tripping on because three days before that happened, we were on our way to Long Beach before we left to New York, listening to his

song,

Lung Collapse of Lyrics, while we're going, I think, to see Dilated Peoples.

So we're just tripping that we're even meeting.

I was a little...

So I grew up, um, I had a unique perspective on that world, because my best friend since I was three's brother is Iriscience from Dilated Peoples.

Oh, yeah.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

So when I was a little kid, like, like I went to like The Dilated Peoples', like, platform release show.

[laughs]

And like all kinds of...

"Where we going? How they gonna treat us?" Like-

Well, we got, we got places to go, 'cause, uh, Dilated Peoples, you know, the hip hop band, they filmed a video like three days before September 11th, 2001 at the World Trade Center, and they had a guy who was supposed to play like a cop in, in the video, and the guy didn't show up, so they got a real cop Black Doom, and he's in the video, and then September 11, 2001 came, and they haven't heard from him since.

They think that he, he, they trying to figure out, 'cause they didn't remember his name-

All right
