NFL Week 1, "Entourage," Stevie Wonder and more

Welcome everyone to the train of thoughts podcast.

This is our new regular Friday edition with my buddy Sal Akata here at underscore media.

And I know people are used to this segment coming after an interview and on Thursdays, but you got to adjust a little.

We got it on Fridays.

So and I think Fridays will be good for us here.

So how you doing?

Yeah, good.

I'm looking forward to it.

We're coming off, obviously, the opening night, as we record this on Thursday, for the opening night of the NFL.

I'm excited for Football Friday, football season.

The fall is in the air.

Love everything about it.

Yep, me too.

And like I said, just want people to understand, the new schedule here for me... is I'll be having pods for you on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Wednesday will be an interview.

We had Joe Buck this week.

We had A-Rod last week.

Fridays are me and Sal.

I think Fridays are good.

This is a good pod for you.

You can listen to it on a Saturday morning, a Sunday morning before the NFL, and I'll have a pod for you on Mondays.

I haven't started it yet because Monday was Labor Day, but we're going to get it going this Monday, and it'll be like a wild card.

It could be different week to week.

I think for football season, there'll be a lot of – fall out from the weekend broadcasting stuff, sports media stuff.

I could do an interview.

I could have a, you know, a diet or an Oran or someone like that on.

We'll, we'll play around with the Monday, but Wednesday will be the interview Fridays, me and Sal.

So, um, subscribe to everything and just, you know, adjust to the new schedule.
