Um, we've only got about five minutes, and I, and I, I've got y- you representing the real estate agents, uh, real estate, uh, market.

What's going on with the Lake Norman real estate market? 'Cause yesterday I was at the expo, and you know, you hear with the interest rates being higher that, that the home sales are slowing down.

I hear things at the coast, that people's houses aren't moving out on the coast in Ocean Isle Beach and things like that.
Uh, we just had a, uh, 400 job announcement for Corvette Technologies up in Mooresville, so $95 million investment.
Um, you know, affordability is a challenge, but yeah, interest rates are affecting things.
Despite all the headwinds we've had, inflation, interest rates, geopolitics, the housing market in North Carolina and South Carolina, very strong.

As a small business owner yourself, what, what kind of hiring challenges do you see facing our, our Lake Norman business community?
If we had three or four interviews scheduled for a day, we're lucky if one or two showed up.
Um, we lost a little bit of that leverage in the employer-employee relationship.
Uh, we have a good relationship with U- UNC Charlotte, so we get some folks there, but, uh, it's challenging.
You, you've really gotta dig to find the right players in that culture, and, uh, it's really important they're a good fit.
Tell me that question, interview question you had that I shared it with everyone.

Uh, I, I'm a big believer in behavioral interviewing, so the question I always ask is, "If we were to offer you a job today, what's the one thing we need to know about you now that we're gonna learn about you six months from now-"
