But then he came back to North Carolina because his parents, you know, his, their health was going downhill as, as it happens when people age.

And, uh, yeah, so he was originally from the area, and the nearest major hospital was in Statesville, North Carolina, uh, which today is about a 30-minute drive.

But, you know, in 1932 it, it, it wasn't quite 30 minutes, uh, especially since not everyone had a car.

And so he essentially built this clinic so that, you know, the, the, the community, that community could have access to healthcare, um, like minor things, like tonsils being taken out, babies being born, uh, maybe, you know, the occasional appendix removal, um, maybe emergency situations like car accidents or farming accidents, um, so that people didn't have to go all the way to Statesville to get treatment.

Uh, so sadly, though, Dr. Trivette ended up passing away in 19- I believe it was 1938, uh, after a really bad bout with pneumonia.

So after that, his wife, uh, did try to keep the clinic going for about another year or two, but then it was eventually sold to a man by the name of Leo Rivers.

Um, that's where, I mean, that's where these guys, these, these builders have come in because they are doing that.

And then you're just, you're just going to see it all along Statesville road.

You've already seen a little bit.

So

You should not have to water for at least three days, if not four or five days, depending on how much it warms up over the next little bit.

So, you know, in Statesville yesterday, I was kind of amazed that we had over four inches of rain totaled by the end of the day yesterday.

So it was quite a bit, a good soaker there.

Here in my house, I think we had about two and a half inches or so.
