564: Flashback: Stairs

Let me set the stage for what's going on, 'cause things are gotten a little con- out of control.

Our players are behind enemy lines.

They're in this, uh, tomb that has been turned into a mine.

Uh, James/TBD, you are at the feet of a giant onyx statue, attempting to s- slot that shard right back where it came, and it didn't work.

Uh, Josh, Crong, and Jay Raff, I believe you're possibly invisible, uh, in a long tunnel that connects from the big chamber where, uh, TBD is.

Um, and that tunnel connects to kind of an area that's set up as kind of a barracks, uh, slash ar- area that the Onyx Scar, uh, has kind of set up shop in.

Uh, s- separate from you three is Tinker Bell/Kathy, um, [smacks lips] who is currently occupying the guards.

Now, guards are aware that things are going on here in the base.

You know, they're, you did basically all show up at the front door, turn invisible, and by turning invisible, disappear on them.

Uh, and so they're, they d- they didn't necessarily know that you were in the base, but they are certainly on the lookout for things, and now they're aware that they're...

Shenanigans are shenaniganning, and, um-

[laughs]

... a little harder for you all to move around, uh, the base without being seen, uh, especially-

That's a lot of minutes.

Uh, and especially, you know, minutes in D&D equal multi, y- many rounds.

Uh, and y- on every round, you can move and attack and things like that.

So you can, you can go a long way in 2 D4 minutes.
