The Habs draft was fascinating and it wasn't fascinating until all the stuff after came out, at least from my perspective, I got super excited when they traded up that I was falling asleep.
I was like, okay, I can nap for a good half hour.
And then, Oh, it's right now.
Wonderful.
They traded a lot too.
Like the first two were to consolidate, move up to get a player they really wanted.
And we're going to talk about both of those guys, a bunch, especially Gleb.
I thought that Bob Brav and LaPointe Presser revealed a lot in terms of like not only who they drafted, but what they were looking for prior to the draft.
And based on what they said, and I mean, maybe they have to say this, but based on what they said, they got exactly what they wanted, which is a really nice thing.
Seemed that way.
It seemed that way.
And that was, I know a lot of people, the moment they announced the 26th pick in the Canadian state, Gleb Pugachev, first thing a lot of people are doing is rushing to YouTube.

They move up two spots after trading with Vegas, give up a third-round pick in the way to select Gleb Pugachev.
So one thing I was mentioning to you, Brian, and is I watched by the time the Habs made this pick, I was back home and had it on.
So I was quite frustrated with first Gary Bettman mispronounced his name, called him Glebe, even though there's there's there's only one E.
