Omer Rav Huna, Shamati Shtei Pikus.
Rav Huna said, "I heard about two Halachic Dinim that are based on Pikus, two Le- Dinim that are w-- that are compared, that are learned out of the size of Pikus, which are rolls of either Shasi or Erev, like we'll see.
Achad shel Shasi, ve'echad shel Erev.
One is Shasi, one is Erev.
Ve'ein li lefanesh, I don't know which one is which.
So he quoted in the name of Rav Yeichanan, Shalish Pikus Shamati.
He heard three Halachas of Pikus.
Achad shel Shasi, ve'echad shel Erev, ve'echad shel Piku Gedolah shel Sakoim, a very large Piku that's used, that is the opening bell, to produce sacks.
They used to make very large, the, the, uh, the, uh, material that was used was much, much bigger.
So that was the third measurement that he heard.
Ve'ein li lefanesh, and he doesn't have an explanation.
So we have Rav Huna's, uh, Mesupik about this Piku business, and Rav Yeichanan, uh, Rav Dimu beShem Rav Yeichanan, is, uh, Mesupik.
Ki yasar Ravin.
Now, the shaila is when he said, "Ein li lefanesh," was he quoting Rav Yeichanan on that, or was it just Rav Dimu's personal problem? When Rav Dimu came, he said in the name of Rav Yeichanan, he heard three of Shte-- of Shalish Pikus, ve'ein li lefanesh.
Who's saying, "Ein li lefanesh"? Rav Dimu is lchayil saying, "Ein li lefanesh," because Ravi- Ravin, like we'll see in a minute, did have an explanation.
But al kapot him, lchayil, when he says, "Ein li lefanesh," lchayil it's Rav Dimu's own personal shita.
Chay Rav Yeichanan did know which one was which.
Ki yasar Ravin, when Ravin came, Pirsham Ishmei Rav Yeichanan, shel Isha ki shel Shasi, that's what we had before.
An Isha, the size of a Vlad of an Isha, is the size of Shasi.
Shel Behema ki shel Erev, of a Behema is the size of Erev.
Piku gedolah shel Sakoim.
Where is it relevant? This Piku gedolah of Sakoim, ki deitanan gush haba mibeis haparas m'eretz ha'amim.
If you have a large piece of a, a clump of afar that comes from a Beis Haparas of an Eretz Ha'amim, which has tumah, how much tumah, how much do you have to have to be able to say that Chazal were gozer tumah on it? Shiuri ki pika gedolah shel sakoim.
