Lets talk about the huge Monday Night Raw from Mexico City that aired September 14th, 2026 with the following results: World Heavyweight Championship -- Roman Reigns def. Penta via pinfall to retain…
It's Tuesday, September 15th, 2026.
Off of a raucous Monday Night Raw as the main event delivered, I think, in a, in a big way with Penta versus Roman Reigns for the world title.
You saw LA Knight come in and do what he did to Roman, putting him down with a BFT, holding the championship up in what could be a precursor or foreshadowing to him winning at Money in the Bank, which is official for the world title, him against Roman Reigns.
And, uh, you know, the more that I'm looking at this and the more reports that I'm seeing, and yes, rumors, but you have to really understand the source of the rumor and look at its credibility.
It does seem that there's a possibility, at least a significant one, that LA Knight does beat Roman Reigns.
Look what they did.
Many people didn't expect that to happen, and now we have a new women's champion in Stephanie Vaquer on Raw.
And there are rumors circulating that they want Roman Reigns taking on Sami Zayn for the championship.
And if that's the case, you're not gonna have Roman as world champion, which means that he would drop the belt to LA Knight.
So, can we conclude that this is LA Knight's best chance to win that he's ever had in his career? I think the answer is a resounding yes.
Does that mean he's going to win? No.
But when you look at the evidence and you look at what could potentially be lining up and why they did the, what they did with Sami, it's possible.
It's possible.
We're not near WrestleMania right now, which also favors LA Knight because I don't think they would want him or TKO or Triple H, those powers that be, wouldn't want him representing the company or chasing the championship into WrestleMania.
I don't believe that they believe he would be marketable enough to do that.
And honestly, if LA Knight loses this match in a few weeks, is that potentially the, the inflection point for fans? Is that where they finally say, "You know, we've been behind this guy for years.
We've been yelling at creative to put him in a position to win a championship.
Let's see what he's got." And he would sniff the championship, never quite make it, had a, a match or two with Roman for the championship back when he was, uh, the, uh, undisputed champion and then universal champion.
You knew he wasn't gonna win.
He didn't.
And then [chuckles] ever since then, it feels like he's been locked in this war of attrition with The Bloodline or some iteration of The Bloodline.
Whatever version of it at the time was going on, he would somehow be involved.
So I think to conclude and reiterate, this is kinda the last chance for him to win in term- in the eyes of fans, I think, because I- a- after this, fans are probably just gonna say, you know, like, "We, we tried.
We gave it everything we had," and that's probably it.
Uh, it doesn't mean he, they would turn him heel or the fans would immediately shut him off or whatever.
It wouldn't be that dramatic, but it would just be a slow drip of fans going, "Eh, all right, I guess.
I guess that's it." So, all right.
