Rey Mysterio

It looks like the timing was just off.

Rey Mysterio was on one turnbuckle, Edge was on another.

They were both supposed to jump off and dropkick him at the same time, except he got hit by Rey first, He bumped, so he fell down.

And then Edge landed on Chris's head.

wrestlers

a lot of what we see in the modern style of pro wrestling, and I'm talking about your Rey Mysterio juniors, Sami Zayn, like, even up to and including, like, all the cruiserweights.

This is a guy who influenced that style.

The current one in WWE is not the same one.

he was doing.

We get that from Taro, who Taro trained with Ron Rivera.

Ron Rivera trained with Damien César César and Rey Mysterio Sr.

So you've got Like, that kind of base, and where does Masquerida Sagrada come from? The very mysterious school of lucha, like, that style.

Yeah.

This wasn't the case for Eddie Guerrero or Rey Mysterio.

Mm hmm.

Mm hmm.

Probably 97.

Rey Mysterio Eddie Guerrero I think is on that one

can you come up with something original alright what's wrong with that everyone knows that's a great one of the greatest Halloween Havoc

matches people love 91 too yeah but and also I saw what what trouble original got you into so I'm just gonna go with the crowd let's see original had you out here with the PN news at Big Josh

And yes, it was 1997.

Rey Mysterio versus Eddie Guerrero, for those who don't know.

Great match.

It was a fantastic match.

Yeah, it is what it is.

Yeah.

So, I mean, in this match, why does this match stick out from other matches? I think it's made Rey Mysterio

into a star.

Yeah.

Our next match of the night, we have Chad Cable versus Rey Mysterio versus Dragon Lee for the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match.

In San Diego.

That's where this all was.

I mean, I like it, but, like, I don't like his character work.

Not very Canadian.

And Big Cass attacking Rey Mysterio.

All

I directly attached with Batista from that moment on.

And then, you know, I found others like Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, just to list a few of my all-time favorites just from that period of time.

So I probably watched wrestling from age... six till about five or six till about 12 or 13.

And then I kind of, I thought I grew out of it.

If y'all want to set the scene right now, Hackstab Slash, Michael Myers is the big show.

And Bucky is, like, Rey Mysterio.

And the big show is literally picking him up and throwing him over the top belt into the crowd.

It was so funny.
