John, the first thing I wanna touch on isn't directly related to the Packers, but it's what's in the news recently, and that's the Detroit Lions, obviously a rival of the Packers.

Their number one corner, Terrion Arnold, is facing a potential life sentence in prison.

Uh, that's nothing to scoff at, nothing to joke about.

Uh, his alleged role in a kidnapping and armed robbery revenge plot, it seems.

Uh, it seems that there's part of this where people who were involved in it maybe turned against him i- in exchange for lighter punishment.

All of this is obviously alleged.

We don't wanna get ourselves in any trouble, but it seems that Terrion Arnold i- is facing some serious, serious punishment.

His camp has denied any wrongdoing, but this will be fascinating to watch play out.

And sure, it's not the Packers, but it has implications with, you know, how the Packers maybe approach a game against Lions.

It's their best corner.

Just like Josh Jacobs' thing impacts other NFC North teams, this, this impacts the Packers indirectly for sure.

You know, when, whenever you leave the off-season program, your coaches are talking to you about coming back better than when you left here, and what I mean by that is they are, they are basically begging and pleading players to, uh, to do the right thing, to, to always make sure you're around the right crowd, to make sure you make the right decisions.

Uh, you're going home.

Obviously, it's assumed you're gonna do your workouts, you're gonna do your rehab, you're gonna do everything it takes to be physically ready and mentally ready to take on training camp.

But you also gotta make sure with that rest and relaxation, that time off, that you don't find yourself getting in some sort of matter that can affect the way that you and your team have to face the training camp or the regular season.

And, and this is one where it, it's gonna impact the Lions very hard, aside from, um, what he is on the field and, and his production on the field.

Terrion Arnold's a member of that locker room, so they are now all gonna have to come back here, field the questions, field the distraction of maybe one of their teammates not even coming back to Detroit.

Yeah, and I say Josh Jacobs' situation.

That is, if it ends up in him not being on the Packers, which we don't know what's gonna happen a- at this point.

Uh, he is still under investigation as we record this on Friday, June 26th, by the Brown County District Attorney's office.

And kinda spinning it to that situation, I think what we learn from this Terrion Arnold thing, besides the fact that these are very serious allegations and a very serious case, is that these investigations take a while to happen.

You know, this isn't inactives are due at this point, and we know when they're gonna come out on game day, or roster cutdown day is now.

There's no, like, hard and fast deadline for these investigations to finish.

Obviously, the Packers would like it to be done before training camp, and they would obviously like Jacobs to be acquitted of all charges.

But with this Terrion Arnold thing, they, they don't just happen overnight.
