But Tyrique Williams, uh, there were moments last year where he looked really good.

And if, if you could just get another piece on that D line where you've sort of reinforced the edges opposite Aidan Hutchinson, huge piece there.

Another big one obviously is gonna be Tate Ratledge.

That's another second-year player, where the identity of the Lions, right, for so long was we're just gonna bruise you up front.

And in Detroit, uh, Alim McNeill by all accounts has looked great.

He looks like, uh, y- you know, his former self when he was just an absolute monster inside.

But e- even still, you know, he can only play so many snaps, and even if you can get two guys next to each other that can completely dominate the interior, that changes things exponentially to go along with Aidan Hutchinson on that defensive line.

So to me, those are two, two pretty game-changing players for both of those teams if they can hit their potential.

Um, they clearly have huge question marks in the secondary, but that, that issue can be mitigated if their front seven, uh, takes another step.

I mean, remember, this is Aidan Hutchinson a year removed from his injury.

This is Alim McNeill a year removed from his injury.

This is Tyleik Williams with a year under his belt now.

but I actually think the other side of the ball as well.

I think the Saints O-line has a chance to dominate a Lions D-line that is Aiden Hutchinson, and I'm not sure what else.

I think there's a real opportunity to run the ball.

I think Devon Valley's underrated, and I'm glad Derek Carty co-signed that.

I don't hate the idea of a third guy.

I just don't know who that third guy would be to go with someone like a Derek Moore and an Aiden Hutchinson, like Mateo.

He's not sexy, but he would, he would fit as that third guy in that mix.

Hard to get like, would they go Damon Wilson jr.

They're not going to have both safeties.

They still need to find a complimentary edge rusher to Aiden Hutchinson and their identity since Dan Campbell got there was old line when they were successful.

That fell apart last year.

They already have injuries on the old line.

I do have concerns or questions about their defense.

You know, it's caller standpoint it's just like it's the personnel obviously outside of Aiden Hutchinson but Brian Branch missing time here I think is a big deal for them and so I think it's a really good playoff team I think they're right in the mix for the division but yeah we'll see

It's interesting you mentioned that with Goff because Amon Ross St.

Brown said that earlier this week too.

I mean, it feels connected right now, for sure.

Honestly, that's what I always think.

Obviously, Aiden Hutchinson hasn't, but it's easier to come together as a defense the way that the Lions play than as an offense with all the different moving parts and who knows who's playing left guard.

Could be Christian Mahogany, could be Ben Bartsch, could be both.

I hope it's just one of them.
