Jordan Love and Christian Watson Shine, but Packers Collapse Late

Yeah.

It, uh, it, it can feel that way sometimes, and this has been [laughs] the MO of the Green Bay Packers since Micah Parsons was departed from the game in Denver-

... um, just last year.

It didn't finish that game, didn't finish the Bears the weekend after in the regular season, didn't finish in the playoffs against the Bears, and, and now once again you have a situation where you go into Minnesota.

That game felt like it was under control.

It felt like it was perfectly under control.

Yep.

Um, and let's talk about what happened in the fourth quarter.

Y- you have a fourth and one that you're unable to convert on.

Uh, that turns the ball over on downs.

That leads to a long drive for the Minnesota Vikings, penalty aided.

Oof.

We can discuss those penalties anytime you like because I'm not a fan of them, and I'm sure Matt LaFleur isn't either.

And then you go into two drives where you turn the football over and give short fields for the Minnesota Vi- That's how you have a collapse.

You miss on offense.

You then, you know, have that drive on the defense, which is unfortunate, 'cause I thought the defense played great for the majority of the game.

I agree.

But you had that one drive, that one d- That was the only true sustained drive by the Minnesota Vikings all day, and then you have a couple turnovers by the Packers, and then there you have your fourth quarter collapse.

[sniffs] Yeah, I think, um, you know, just the defense as a whole, I thought they played pretty well as well.

Um, you know, just penalty free would've, would've been great as well.

I think we gave a big play, uh, on the offsides early on in the game, and I think that kind of derailed everything from that standpoint, uh, leaving Cece, uh, by himself on that, uh, false start.

And, uh, and, um, and it just went downhill from there, I believe.
