Can the Packers Steal Week 1 in Minnesota? Kuhn & Clinton-Dix Preview

Well, I mean, I guess dating back to my first year in the league, we played against Seattle, and I think they just came off of a Super Bowl win.

I was scared as hell, you know? So I would like to kind of start the game off with the easier opponent, like, you know, the Chicago Bears or the Minnesota Vikings.

You know, somebody that I can have confidence in versus going to play the, you know, the Super Bowl contenders.

I think we can safely say they're not a Super Bowl contender, the Vikings, this year.

However, Jordan Love, two and three in his career as a starter against the Vikings, and all those starts have came against Brian Flores when he's been the defensive coordinator of the Vikings.

He has nine touchdowns, four picks.

Three of those came in one game.

He almost let him back.

It's time to let Jordan Love cook because we have no idea what exactly the running back room is going to look like.

How much do you let him cook? Do you just let him go out there and throw it all around the yard? Because that is not what LeFleur likes to do.

I really think they go in there and they start this thing off right.

They get Jordan and all of his weapons on the outside.

You got to remember this.

Marshawn Lloyd is still wet behind the ears, right? Chris Brooks has a little bit of experience.

And then we got the young guy from Pittsburgh that's in there to add some depth.

So what type of real true continuity do we have in the run game? I don't know.

I think the Packers probably feel pretty confident that they have some continuity, some things that they're comfortable with.

But, man, when you talk about the rapport of Jordan, these wide receivers, Tucker Kraft in the mix, I'm going that route to try and generate offense, and I'm going early and often.

But ha-ha.

How difficult is that going to be? Because you know on the other side, they're thinking the same thing.

Defensively, the Vikings are like, man, if we don't let Christian Watson go over the top, if we don't let Tucker Kraft break 10 tackles and run for 30-yard touchdowns, we might be able to take this thing.

Well, I think you mean it's early on in the season, but you have to establish the run game.

I think it's important that we figure out what type of backs we have in Green Bay.

It's a new lineup, of course, with Josh being out in the beginning of the season.
