You talked about Brandon S- McManus getting cut here in the last, you know, 10, 12 days.
I think once a team drafts you and uses two draft picks to move up and take you, um, with that priority, and then they let go of the kicker that they said was gonna be a part of the competition, it says a lot about how they feel about you.
And everything about this kid says he's got a big time leg, and he's accurate from distance, and that's the thing I keep hearing about.
So I can't help but think being a rookie with that type of anticipation brings a lot of pressure.
And I've talked with Mason Crosby about this, and he said, "Yeah, I remember my rookie year.
I was, I was known as a boom foot coming from Colorado, but the air's a little thin up there.
He s- he was still kicking them far, he still had that powerful leg, but man, um, wh- when they put that whole, the whole weight of the organization on you as a rookie, um, some people flourish in it and some people f- uh, flounder under it.
Yeah, and for full transparency to our audience here, John and I did not give each other our top three, so there could be overlap.
Because when I think of guys under the most pressure, I think guys that have maybe things to lose, and, and I think Trey Smack still has some leeway since he's a rookie.
I think this team could be that number one corner away from really contending for a Super Bowl, and, and first half of last season, Keisean was that.
He's also in a contract year, so not only does he have pressure for the Packers' success, he has pressure for his own success.
Is he gonna get another long-term contract as a corner pushing 30 years old? I think Keisean Nixon is number three on my list, John.
