There was a police chase, I think in is Richardson, Texas.

Is it Richardson, Texas? I believe.

Apparently caused a major backup.

with breaking news and a major backup on 75 right now.

Investigators tell us that a chase involving Allen police ended in Dallas County Road in Richardson.

That is a live look from our channel.

Definitely looks like Texas.

Look at the traffic as it stretches upward from where that all came to an end there on 75.

The southbound lanes are shut down there just after Campbell.

I think it's just before you get to Collins there where those lanes have been shut down.

That backup just keeps on growing too.

So far, we haven't heard about any injuries or why that chase started in the first place, but you can see investigators out there on the scene and no traffic moving by on those southbound lanes.

We're going to start this hour with Stacia Wilson to bring us more on those traffic problems caused by this chase.

That is a terrible picture right there behind you, Stacia.

Yeah, Jason, nobody's moving and this is not the only place where we received word that Central Expressway southbound is closed.

Let me walk you through what's happening so you can see that traffic.

Totally at a standstill.

You've got it shut down in a couple of spots.

You have this stretch through Richardson, again, on the southbound side of Central that's closed, right around Campbell, and then south of that location, right at Loop 12, you have another closure.

We do not know if these two closures are related.

We know the southbound one at Loop 12 happened about 45 minutes ago, and we're looking into that situation.

But let me show you what's happening right at Campbell Road first.

So you've got this stretch that's closed.

It does look like it reopens until Spring Valley.
