Now that the, the jury has been dismissed, the real battle in the Lindsay Clancy case is moving behind closed doors between, uh, DA Tim Cruz and defense attorney Kevin Reddington.

Uh, we're gonna be breaking down the, uh, legal maneuvering happening right now behind the scenes.

Bob Mata is with us to help us through that, along with Robin Dreak, retired FBI special agent.

At the same time, the jurors describe moments of camaraderie, hugging, practicing self-care to get through it, and the three women who have spoken out said they formed genuine friendships through the experience.

Um, the three jurors were critical of the prosecution's approach while finding defense attorney Kevin Reddington's style more authentic and persuasive.

They clearly sided with the defense's framing of Clancy as a woman in a severe psychiatric crisis driven by postpartum psychosis and an over-medicated state.

You know, remember the gentleman that we interviewed, Kevin Harper?

Yeah, he's like, "I, this has nothing to do with me."

Uh, the comments came after Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, made a direct public appeal to the president on Good Morning America following the mistrial, asking him to consider using his influence on the client's behalf.

Reddington stopped short of asking for a formal pardon, recognizing that there was a federal/state distinction, but suggested the president could still have an impact as prosecutors decide whether to retry Lindsay Clancy or not.

And she's kind of using her skills of brilliant deduction as this juror is... is giving this information out kind of slowly, where she lands on the fact that the person that the world apparently is pissed off at, the person who Kevin Reddington blamed for wasting six or seven weeks of the entire jury time, that this person happens to be a Black man.

And so what does that mean to her?

So there were a few things I wanted to talk about.

So let's talk about Kevin Reddington because it's going to morph into a couple of things.

I, I wanted to talk about the blog that judge Carol Erskine wrote.

But I do think her shock reflected a lot of the shock that many of us had when we learned this.

And look, we have to point out that the defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, had filed a motion to disqualify this juror in an attempt to get him to change his mind.

And his argument was that this Black juror was discriminating against Lindsey Clancy for having a mental illness.

And so there's a lot to all of this.

And I will say this, and I said this on air a few days ago.

I think these jurors and Kevin Reddington, the defense attorney, really need to be careful about any lines they could be crossing or at least walking out to you with respect to jury intimidation, retaliation, ethical rules that bound Kevin Reddington.

I have not liked this bullying that has been taking place against this juror from day one.

And now that I know that it was a black man, I have even more concerns about the situation.

He drives in a in a RV, goes to different trials around the country.

And he was a personal favorite of Kevin Reddington.

Kevin Reddington even brought him up to the to the podium, the microphones last day.

But Paul, why are men killing their wives instead of calling a divorce attorney, which seems cheaper and easier?

So in the number of homicides I've done, if I could answer the question why for any of the victims' families, they would have loved me forever for that.

But can you imagine the jury pool, all the people that are going to want to be on this jury pool, the women or others who want to make some social stand? Think about that.

Think about how hard it is going to be.

And that's why Kevin Reddington went on this media crusade.

oh, we want to get Trump to pardon her.
