Todd examines media coverage of President Trump's remarks about Iran, fuel prices, and the danger of a nuclear-armed Iranian regime. He explains why claims that Trump encouraged attacks on Los Angeles…
This is not a r- a rhetorical device that I'm using here to engage in some sort of, uh, political theater or whatever.
They have proven time and time again that they cannot and that they should not be trusted.
So you know Trump was speaking at Grand Island, Nebraska here a couple of days ago.
Trump was speaking, campaigning there, and he made some comments that even some people on the left are now coming out and saying, um, that the way that they're being represented in the media is misleading, is delusionally misleading.
Now, what Trump is doing here, you can say he needed to communicate this more clearly, whatever you wanna say.
But to claim, as a matter of fact, as, by the way, many news outlets, so-called news outlets around the country have done, to claim unequivocally that President Trump was calling on Iran to bomb the cities of Los Angeles and/or San Diego is beyond disingenuous.
I, I'll go as far to say if, if someone is stating this as a factual recounting of what actually happened, you should never, hear me say this, never believe what they say again.
