Adam TorelHostBenHostOne thing I did wanna ask you though, just quickly before we get into the films, was, uh, are you still, like, enjoying the, the film release part of this job as much as you were when we first started the podcast? 'Cause I remember some of the stuff-
Well, [sighs] I think there, there was something about the hunt, right? The, the releasing, the finding, finding things that maybe haven't been seen before by the wider audience and all that sort of stuff.
'Cause, like, when you go through that filmography you just did, some of them are obviously huge films that people have been waiting ages to, to get on Blu-ray.
Others are probably films that no one's ever heard of or seen before.
So there's a huge mix there.
So I just wondered, like, if that's still something you enjoy as part of this.

I mean, uh, I do feel that it's somehow doing a service to- The, the, the world, I guess, uh-
Yeah

Obviously, nowadays it's a lot harder because it's a lot easier to see so many films because of things like fan subbing and, uh-
Mm

But then again, there have been so many other films, including just of the recent films like Mermaid Legend-
Yeah

... of the recent list that I just, uh, read out, that had never once been screened outside of Japan.

But saying that, they still had the few bootleg releases here and there, but, but you know, official releases.
Mm.

So doing that and, and getting them out there and, and, and also handling the release of that in other territories, like getting it released in America and France and Germany, it, it's...
For sure.
