Uh, it occurred to me that, uh, the most timely thing I could ask about, uh, we were kind of grieving.
So Hayden Panettiere passed away this week and you worked with, you were the music supervisor on Nashville for five, six years.
And must have a real strong impression of how she received music and how'd you work together?
The first year, um, I did the pilot, and then T-Bone came in, and I worked real closely with T-Bone.
But Hayden, of course, was there from the beginning, and I got to know her pretty well.
She came over here and would do her vocals for probably half the songs that she sang in the show.
And when you work with somebody like that producing vocals and just hanging with them, you get to know them, and you just can't help it.
And she was... very lovable, very sweet, very smart, and very, very talented as an actor.
But yeah, that's so tragic and sad
it strikes me that that would have been a very different posture for you as a producer than usual when you're working with established voices, many cases people you've known for years, and professional people who've made many records.
